Imogene Rains

Imogene "Jeannie" Rains, 68, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at her home.

She was born Feb. 15, 1952, in Cape Girardeau to Joseph and Dorothy Welker Foeste. Jeannie married Milo E. Rains on April 28, 1972. He preceded her in death Sept. 22, 2011.

Jeannie was a shopper, especially when it came to flea markets and yard sales. She enjoyed taking drives through the country and loved attending church at Word of Life Fellowship Church in Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Charles) Griffith of Cape Girardeau; sister, Joann Evans of Doniphan, Missouri; and nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary Foeste; and infant sister, Patsy Jean Foeste.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau, with Pastor Don Henson officiating. Interment will follow in Lorimier Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
