ESSEX -- Funeral service for Imogene Howard, Essex Route 2, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Carl Addison will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Howard, 67, died Thursday, June 1, 1995, at Martin Hills Retirement Home in Essex.
She was born March 22, 1928, in Marked Tree, Ark., daughter of Edwin and Minnie Mae Range Stephens.
Howard was a member of Tanner Street Church of God.
Survivors include five sons, Roy and Randy Howard of Cahokia, Ill., Gary Howard of Sikeston, Mike Howard of Belleville, Ill., Steve Howard of Branson; a daughter, Jeannie Williams of Sikeston; three brothers, James Stephens of Sikeston, Donnie Stephens of St. Louis, Jerry Stephens of Branson; four sisters, Nancy Wiley, Helen Miller and Pat Conner of Cahokia, Norma Smart of Sikeston; 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
