IMOGENE HAMBY

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Funeral for Imogene Hamby of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home. The Revs. Edsel Pruitt and James Hook will officiate. Burial will be in Hills Cemetery.

Hamby, 72, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Mo.

She was born Jan. 19, 1928, at Diehlstadt, Mo., daughter of R.E. "Jocky" and Beulah Brooks Taylor. She and J.F. "Jake" Hamby were married June 28, 1947.

Hamby spent most of her life in the Bloomfield community, and attended Bible Tabernacle Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Rhonda Wyatt of Bloomfield; a sister, Willagene Moore of Bloomfield; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
