BENTON, Mo. -- Ida Mae Urhahn, 93, of Benton died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 2, 1925, in Benton to William and Lillian Spalding Cannon. She and Raymond S. "Pat" Urhahn were married Aug. 21, 1945, at Benton. He passed away Feb. 27, 2000.
She and her husband where owners/operators of Pat's Gas in Benton for over 40 years.
She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church and St. Denis Ladies Sodality. She also was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her two sons, John R. (Diane) Urhahn of Benton and Steve R. Urhahn of Kelso, Missouri; four grandchildren, Barry (Sharon) Urhahn, Leigh Vosseller, Melanie (Norman) Heuring and Suzanne (Travis) Duff; and five great-grandchildren, Madeline, Grace, Mikayla, Hayden and Devin.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., with parish prayers at 7 p.m., today at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Benton.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton, with the Father Normand Varone and Father Bala Swamy Govindu officiating. Burial will be at St. Denis Church Cemetery in Benton.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association, Friends of St. Francis or St. Denis School.
