Ida M. Ream, 89, of Jackson passed away Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 15, 1926, in Gifford, Illinois, daughter of Asa and Clarissa Rusk Fore. She and Warren H. Ream were married Sept. 19, 1943.
In addition to her loving husband, survivors include a son, Larry (Linda) Ream of Jackson; four grandchildren, Misty (Sean) Kelley of Fort Worth, Texas, Brianna (Shannon) Morrow of Hesston, Kansas, and Rick and Doug Jones of Louisville, Kentucky; 11 great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Bailey Downs, Christopher, Hailey, Payton and Kendall Kelley, Addison, Caden and Brynley Morrow, and Garret and Alexis Jones; and three siblings, Helen Underhill of Franklin Hill, Illinois, Butch (Norma) Fore of Olney, Illinois, and Connie (Ted) Heier of Ashton, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Tom Fore.
A private family viewing and graveside service was held.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Optimist International Foundation or the Community Counseling Center Foundation in Cape Girardeau.
