ROCKVIEW -- Ida Zoda Green, 82, Rockview Route 2, died Tuesday, April 28, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Nov. 13, 1915, at Bell City, daughter of Ed and Alma Kneazel Tucker. She and Charles Javis Green were married Nov. 13, 1935. He died Sept. 27, 1993...

ROCKVIEW -- Ida Zoda Green, 82, Rockview Route 2, died Tuesday, April 28, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 13, 1915, at Bell City, daughter of Ed and Alma Kneazel Tucker. She and Charles Javis Green were married Nov. 13, 1935. He died Sept. 27, 1993.

Green worked at Ely Walker in Scott City 16 years, and she and her husband owned Green's Store at Rockview from 1971-80.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Chaffee, and had taught Sunday School. She was a member of VIP Industries in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Javis Green; a daughter, Margie Bucher, both of Rockview; a sister, Caroline Ranier of Granite City, Ill.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and two stepbrothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 5:30 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Nancy Woods officiating. Burial will be in Tilman Cemetery near Advance.
