CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Ida Faye Denny, 84, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri (formerly of Richmond Heights, Mo.) passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Jan. 25, 1999, from natural causes after a short illness. Ida Faye was a member of the Richmond Heights Presbyterian Church, the Ladies' Circle, and the Maplewood Missouri Chapter of Eastern Star. CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Ida Faye Denny, 84, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri (formerly of Richmond Heights, Mo.) passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Jan. 25, 1999, from natural causes after a short illness.

Ida Faye was a member of the Richmond Heights Presbyterian Church, the Ladies' Circle, and the Maplewood Missouri Chapter of Eastern Star. She attended Westminster Presbyterian Church and First Assembly of God, both in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 13, 1914, in Fort Worth, Texas, the daughter of Lee F. and Ida Belle Woody. Mrs. Denny was a Deputy Clerk for the Federal Courts in St. Louis for 32 years.

She married Charles T. Denny on June 30, 1945. He died Jan. 15, 1981.

Survivors include loving daughters, Sheila Williams of Cape Girardeau, and Sharon Schwendemann of Jefferson City, Mo. Her surviving grandchildren are Kristy Landon-Pettis of Chicago, Ill., and Brendon Landon of Galesburg, Ill. A third daughter, Shirley Denny of Galesburg, Ill., preceded Mrs. Denny in death.

A private graveside service will be held at the Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau with Pastor Kim Ferguson and Pastor Mickey Bellis officiating.

Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
