CHARLESTON -- Ida Ruth Clack, 81, of Charleston died Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 13, 1918, at Wyatt, daughter of Clarence Preston and Dollie May Graham Black. She and Milton M. Clack were married Dec. 25, 1938. He died May 19, 1992...

CHARLESTON -- Ida Ruth Clack, 81, of Charleston died Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 13, 1918, at Wyatt, daughter of Clarence Preston and Dollie May Graham Black. She and Milton M. Clack were married Dec. 25, 1938. He died May 19, 1992.

Clack lived in Charleston most of her life. She and her husband owned and operated Central Food Store many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, David Clack of Lakewood, Colo.; a daughter, Mary Deline of Charleston; two brothers, C.P. "Junior" Black of Sikeston, Allen Black of Malden; a sister, Louise Tweedy of Anna, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Revs. Gerald Collier and Rick White will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
