Ida Marie Bird, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, May 6, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born April 22, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Wilson H. and Emma Lucille Brewer Jones. She and Marblin Bird were married in June 1973, in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Eugene and Tony Criddle of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Teresa Moore, Lisa Criddle, Rosalind Thomas and Sheila Smith of Cape Girardeau; her mother of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Wilson Jones of Farmington, Mo.; a sister, Shirley Mitchell of Austin, Texas; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Bird Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
