IDA B. ESTES

JACKSON -- Ida B. Estes, 88, of Jackson died Thursday, June 20, 1996, at the Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 30, 1908, in Pope, Miss., daughter of James M. and Mary Green Hubbard. She married Fred Estes Jan. 26, 1940. He died July 20, 1968.

She is survived by three sons, the Rev. Don Estes of Brewer, Tim Estes of Jackson and Dan Estes of Farmington; three daughters, Diane Vogelsang and Linda Seabaugh, both of Jackson, and Mary Lou Roberts, of DeSoto; a brother, Dalton Hubbard of Vaden, Miss.; a sister, Mary Moore of Pope; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

She was a resident of Jackson for 50 years, a member of the Millersville Baptist Church and Millersville Homemakers Club.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery, with the Rev. S.S. Borum officiating.

Friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home.
