Iceal Brewer

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Iceal E. Brewer, 89, of Perryville died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Jan. 19, 1913, at Chaffee, Mo., daughter of William and Rosella Lancaster Mowry. She and Jesse S. Brewer were married July 4, 1932.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Glen and Thomas Brewer of Perryville, George Brewer of St. Mary, Mo.; six daughters, Marie Johnson of Sedgewickville, Mo., Mildred Hayes of St. Mary, Irene Bollinger of Fredericktown, Mo., Ruby Kluender, Jane Garland and Velda Friese, all of Perryville; four sisters, Alberta Cissell, Estlea Deweese and Josephine Coppaway of Perryville, Pearl Otte of St. Mary; 25 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, three brothers, and six sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m. The wake will be at 7:30 tonight.

Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, Mo. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
