Hulda Leona Moore, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Jan. 16, 1916, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Albert and Laura Lueders Maevers. She and Leonard F. Moore were married Nov. 4, 1939, in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Moore was a lifetime resident of Cape Girardeau. She worked five years at International Shoe Co., and was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Albert Moore and wife Carolyn of Cape Girardeau, Frank Moore and wife Betty of Cobden, Ill.; two daughters, Jean Lewis and Mary Robertson and husband Paul of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Frank Maevers of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Lillian Graden of Cape Girardeau; a sister-in-law, Lorene Maevers of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Atchley; her parents, a brother, a sister, and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Heckman and the Rev. Ernest Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
