Hughes Plumb, 85, of St. Peters, Mo., died Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters.
He was born Aug. 8, 1921, at Allenville, son of John and Della Plumb. He married Nellie Ada Plumb.
Plumb worked for Carondelet Foundry Co. in St. Louis 27 years, and then worked more than 20 years at Columbus Foundries in Columbus, Ga. He was a member of First Baptist Church of O'Fallon, Mo.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Plumb of St. Peters, Beverly Plumb of Wildwood, Mo.; a brother, George Plumb of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and a sister, Betty Scott of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his wife and six brothers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Baue Funeral Home in O'Fallon.
The funeral will be at noon Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles, Mo.
