OLD APPLETON, Mo. -- Hubert Northcutt, 83, of Old Appleton died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005, at his home.
He was born Sept. 8, 1922, in Blytheville, Ark., son of Coy Elisha and Willie Mae Connoll Northcutt. He and Katie Jack Hatley were married May 1, 1942, in Blytheville. She died July 9, 2002.
Northcutt retired from Wagner Electric Co. in St. Louis.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Rick Northcutt of Old Appleton, Tony Northcutt of St. Louis; a daughter, Judy Chesnick of Old Appleton; three sisters, Geneva Caldwell of Arkansas, Betty Grant of Jonesboro, Ark., Lillie Fleenor of Piney Flatts, Tenn.; a brother, Billy Northcutt of Blytheville; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo., from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 a.m. until time of service.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Chamness officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau with graveside military honors by the Delta Team of Cape Girardeau.
