HUBERT F. JACKSON

Hubert F. Jackson, 68, 466 W. Cape Rock Drive, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born March 24, 1925, at Scopus, son of Marvin and Permellia Ridings Jackson. He and Melba Hanners were married July 12, 1958.

Jackson moved to Cape Girardeau 29 years ago from Scopus. He was a retired laborer with Local 282.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Judy Robinson of Burfordville, Debra Wehmeyer of Thebes, Ill.; three sisters, Melba Beard of Jackson, Freda Hawkins of Cape Girardeau, Veneda Preston of Kokomo, Ind.; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Ernest Brown will officiate, with burial in Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
