SIKESTON -- Howard Willis Davis, 79, of Eldon died Sunday, June 1, 1997, at Eldon Health Care Center.
He was born July 16, 1917, at Charleston, son of Marion and Mattie Davis.
Davis was a self-employed truck driver. He was formerly of Sikeston, and attended First Assembly of God Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicky Hubbard and Mary Dock of Eldon; a brother, U.M. Davis of Vilonia, Ark.; two sisters, Lena Clutts of Peoria, Ill., Marie Keaster of Belleville, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Tim Drake officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
