BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- Howard Crook, 91, of Belleville passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at Manor Court of Maryville, Illinois.
He was born July 23, 1927, in Doniphan, Missouri.
Howard was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired from Carter Carburetor in St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Jane (Barr) Crook; two children, Larry Crook and Janet Crook; his parents, David and Myrtle Smith Crook; three brothers and a sister; and a granddaughter, Amanda Innis.
Surviving are his children, Glenda Forbes of Popular Bluff, Missouri, Patricia (David) Innis of Arnold, Missouri, Michael (Rebecca) Crook of Waterloo, Illinois, Sheila (Mark) Johnson of Swansea, Illinois, and Ginger (Eric) Luckett of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Berrong Cemetery in Zalma, Missouri.
