HOPE BAIRD

JACKSON -- Graveside service for Hope O. Baird of Jackson will be held at 3 p.m. today at Memorial Park, with the Revs. Bonnie Sparks and John Ferguson officiating.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 2-2:45 p.m.

Baird, 86, died Monday, March 18, 1996, at Deal Nursing Home.

She was born April 17, 1909, in Marble Hill, daughter of Edward and Julia Schenimann Reck. She and Thomas F. Baird were married Sept. 19, 1952, at Jackson. He preceded her in death.

Baird was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a sister, Alpha Ricketts of Marble Hill.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
