BLOOMFIELD -- Homer Aslin, 92, of Bloomfield died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2000, at Bloomfield.
He was born Feb. 23, 1907, at Bloomfield, son of Monroe and Dovie Miller Aslin. He and Iva Irene Poe were married Aug. 26, 1928. He died June 1, 1996.
Aslin was a retired farmer, and member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Richard Aslin of Bloomfield; a sister, Wilma Link of Dexter; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, a great-grandson, three sisters, and three brothers.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
