MCCLURE, Ill. -- Hiram Junior Fisher, 74, of McClure died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at his home.
He was born Feb. 14, 1929, in Alexander County, son of William and Buena Jackson Fisher. He married Esther Smith, who preceded him in death.
Fisher retired from Lonestar Cement in Dixon, Ill. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Ill.
Survivors include two brothers, Donnie Fisher of Anna, Ill., James Fisher of Dixon; a sister, Darlyn Smith of Dixon; and friends, Melva Jackson of Thebes, Ill., and Roger and Virginia Rudluff of McClure.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Raymond McAfee officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Olive Branch.
