Hinkle Collantha Ridings, 75, of Jackson died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was the son of Everett and Clara Williams Ridings and grew up in the Hurricane community of Bollinger County. He moved to Jackson in 1963, working for the Litzelfelner Poultry Co. and later the Jackson School District R-2 in maintenance and custodial work. He retired in 1994.
Survivors include two daughters, Debi Brown of Jackson and Linda Bordeau of Albuquerque, N.M.; five grandchildren, Robbie and Mark Bordeau, both of Albuquerque, Christi Zschille of St. Louis, Mo., Matthew Zschille of Pear Harbor, Hawaii, and Becky Deck of Glenallen, Mo.; honorary granddaughter Nikki Wells of Jackson; three stepgrandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo., and from 1 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church near Marble Hill.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Revs. Eddie Devenport and Steven Sander officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith and Calvin Ridings, Denny Gaither, Matt Zschille and Ed and Neil Carr.
