Hildegarde Mary Young, 92, 644 S. Spring, died Tuesday, March 5, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1903, daughter of William and Emily Roulette Cambron. She and Ross Young were married Dec. 17, 1920, in Cape Girardeau. He died Feb. 7, 1991...

Hildegarde Mary Young, 92, 644 S. Spring, died Tuesday, March 5, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born July 5, 1903, daughter of William and Emily Roulette Cambron. She and Ross Young were married Dec. 17, 1920, in Cape Girardeau. He died Feb. 7, 1991.

Young was a partner in Johnston Dry Cleaning and Ross Young Clothing Store more than 50 years. She had attended Old St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, E. Ross Young of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Shirley Waggener Faiks of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and six sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-7 p.m. today.

Private funeral service will be held Thursday at the chapel. Burial will be in Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Cemetery.
