HILDA B. HEEB

CHAFFEE - Hilda Beatrice Heeb, 86, of Chaffee, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1993, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 6, 1906, in Ester, Mo., daughter of Charles Edward and Myrtle Ann Lawrence Williams.

She married Rufus Heeb in 1923. He died July 10, 1969.

Heeb was the former owner/operator of the Jo-Ann Shoppe in Chaffee. She retired in 1971.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chaffee. She was also a member of the Chaffee Order of Eastern Star #48, the Chaffee P.E.O., Ladies Auxiliary of Chaffee V.F.W., Ladies Auxiliary of Chaffee American Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary of Brotherhood of R.T.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Heeb of Omaha, Neb., and John Dale Heeb of Chaffee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, two brothers, a sister and a grandson.

Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, with the Rev. Charley Shrum presiding.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
