DONGOLA, Ill. -- Hezzie Fisher, 83, of Dongola died Monday, July 15, 2002, at his home.
He was born July 30, 1918, in Dongola, son of Bona and Alice Earnhart Fisher. He and Marjorie Keller were married Jan. 18, 1941. She died Aug. 4, 1986.
Fisher worked many years at Union County Wildlife Refuge, retiring in 1983. He was also a farmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Fuller of Anna, Ill.; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, a grandson, three brothers, two sisters, and two infant siblings.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Everett Frizzell officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
