SIKESTON -- Hettie Mae Turner, 84, of Sikeston, formerly of Oran, died Sunday, July 12, 1992, at Minor Nursing Center in Sikeston. She was born Sept. 20, 1907 in Dover, Ark., the daughter of George Franklin and Louvena Taylor Reynolds. She was a member of Blodgett Baptist Church. On Aug. 12, 1929 in Guthrie, Okla., she married Roy Odes Turner. He preceded her in death April 22, 1985...

SIKESTON -- Hettie Mae Turner, 84, of Sikeston, formerly of Oran, died Sunday, July 12, 1992, at Minor Nursing Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 20, 1907 in Dover, Ark., the daughter of George Franklin and Louvena Taylor Reynolds.

She was a member of Blodgett Baptist Church. On Aug. 12, 1929 in Guthrie, Okla., she married Roy Odes Turner. He preceded her in death April 22, 1985.

She is survived by two daughters, Melba Imogene Householder, Sikeston, Mary Frances Aduddell, Clearwater Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Nettie L. Clark, Belflower, Calif., Betty E. Johnson, Whittier, Calif., Iva Lucille Wilson, Chula Vista, Calif.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Two daughters and one grandson preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston until noon on Wednesday.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Blodgett Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Fansler, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Garden in Morley.
