HESTER T. BLAYLOCK

PERRYVILLE -- Hester T. Blaylock, 83, of Perryville died Friday, Oct. 28, 1994, at Aspen Forest Care Center in Perryville.

She was born Sept. 27, 1911, in Perry County, the daughter of Joseph A. and Hattie Krater Brewer.

On June 12, 1937, she married Roy J. Moore, who preceded her in death in 1961. She married Benton Blaylock in 1966, and he preceded her in death Dec. 23, 1975.

Survivors include three daughters, Delores Alkemeyer and Joyce C. Dreyer, both of Perryville, and Sandra Mattingly of St. Mary's; a stepdaughter, Rosemary Berkbigler of Perryville; a brother, Clyde Brewer of Brewer; a sister, Lillian Moore of Perryville; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a sister, six brothers and one great grandson.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Daughter of Isabella, American Legion Auxiliary and Blessed Sacrament Sodality in Brewer.

Service will be held at Christ the Savior Church in Brewer at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Felipe Martinez will officiate, and burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville from 5-9 p.m. today. A Catholic wake will be held at 7 p.m.
