ST. LOUIS -- Herman J. Steele, 84, formerly of Jackson, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 1995, in St. Louis.
He was born Jan. 1, 1911, in Anada, son of Horace and Maude Taylor Steele. He and Hazel M. Jones were married.
Steele worked as a meat cutter for Central Packing Co.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel; a daughter, Patricia Korn of Oakville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home in St. Louis.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery in St. Louis.
