Herman Hebenstreit

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Herman J. Hebenstreit, 70, of Advance, Mo., died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the Advance Nursing Home.

He was born Oct. 16, 1936, at Benton, Mo., son of Ben and Alma Scherer Hebenstreit. He and Dorothy Winchester were married July 11, 1969, at Advance.

Hebenstreit was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Advance.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Brian Winchester of Advance, Mo.; a sister, Lavada Bene of O'Fallon, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral will be Tuesday at the funeral home. Father David Dohogne will officiate, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Advance.
