Herman C. Lohmeier, 81, of 181 Ute Lane, died Saturday, June 5, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born April 25, 1912, at Claryville, Mo., son of George T. and Hulda M. Pick Lohmeier.
He was married to Helen Marie Hanf, June 12, 1949, at Poplar Bluff.
Lohmeier was a marine engineer employed by Mechline Barge Lines.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, David Lohmeier of Carterville, Ill., James Lohmeier of Jackson, Robert Lohmeier of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Nancy Brasher of Douglas, Wyo.; two sisters, Alma Theis of Poplar Bluff, Edna Garrett of Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David V. Dissen officiating.
Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
