HERBERT PLASTER

JACKSON, Mo. -- Herbert G. Plaster, 66, of California, Mo., died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Mo.

He was born Oct. 26, 1934, at Centertown, Mo., son of Clyde and Edith Taggart Plaster. He and Irma Johnson were married March 10, 1961, in Centertown.

Plaster was a 1953 graduate of California High School. He was a welder with Union Electric 28 years, retiring in 1988.

He served in the U.S. Army from May 1957 to April 1959.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, James Plaster of Centertown; three sisters, Helen Borghardt and Dorothy Francis of California, and Carol Atkinson of Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home in California from 4-7 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Greg Morrow will officiate. Burial will be in Centertown Cemetery.
