CHAFFEE -- Herbert Lee Houseman, 70, of Cassville, formerly of Chaffee, died Friday, June 5, 1998, at the Terrace Hills Care Center in Cassville.
He was born Oct. 16, 1927, at Chaffee, son of Herbert Lee and Nellie Jane Skelton Houseman.
He had been employed at Mable's Cafe in Chaffee and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Cassville.
He is survived by two brothers, Donald Houseman of Claremore, Okla., and James Houseman of Shell Knob; and four sisters, Juanita Tanner of Florissant, Virgie Miles of Chaffee, Earline Gillespie of St. Louis and Beatrice Margrabe of Cape Girardeau.
Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee at 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Hargove officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
