HERBERT FEUERBORN

Herbert C. "Buck" Feuerborn, 91, of Effingham, Ill., died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham. He was born Dec. 16, 1909. He and Geraldine F. Tucker were married Oct. 28, 1932. She died in 1995. Feuerborn was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and Effingham Knights of Columbus Council 665. Herbert C. "Buck" Feuerborn, 91, of Effingham, Ill., died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

He was born Dec. 16, 1909. He and Geraldine F. Tucker were married Oct. 28, 1932. She died in 1995.

Feuerborn was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and Effingham Knights of Columbus Council 665. He was a former member of Illinois Guarantee Savings and Loan Board of Directors, and member of Effingham Park Board many years.

Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Fruchtl of Effingham, Nina Schmidt of Cape Girardeau, Nancy Rimkus of Augusta, Ga.; a brother, Albert Feuerborn of Effingham; a sister, Mary Harris of Effingham; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham from 4-7 p.m. today. The parish wake will be at 6, and Knights of Columbus rosary at 7.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
