Herbert Biehle

BIEHLE, Mo. -- Herbert J. Biehle, 81, of St. Louis died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 28, 1931, in Biehle, son of Herbert and Irma Ernst Biehle. He and Evelyn Richardet were married May 4, 1957.

Herbert was an officer at several banks. He was a member of the Catholic faith, former Lions Club member, and lifelong musician.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife of St. Louis; a daughter, Patti Biehle of Manchester, Mo.; two sons, Scott Biehle of Marietta, Ga., and Keith Biehle of Concord, N.C.; a brother, Kenneth Biehle of Rocklin, Calif.; two sisters, Shirley Cracraft of Cape Girardeau and Doris Sutterer; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Vernon and Alan Biehle.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, with the Rev. Jim French officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military graveside rites by VFW Post 4282 and Missouri Delta Team.

Memorials are preferred to the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
