PATTON, Mo. -- Henry Ray Yamnitz, 79, of Patton passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 16, 1937, in Patton to Everett Ray and Lona Lizzie Reagan Yamnitz. He and Anita Sue Yount were united in marriage July 11, 1959.
Henry Ray was a farmer all of his life, a member of the Lutheran church at Yount, Missouri, and served his country proudly in the U.S. Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Yamnitz of Patton; son, Henry Ray "Buster" Yamnitz Jr. of Jackson; sisters, Mary Jane Fulton of Patton, Clara Grace Hahn of Sedgewickville, Missouri, and Shirley Ann Welker of Farmington, Missouri; and grandchildren, Madison Joy Yamnitz and Kohlten Ray Yamnitz.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with pastor Roger Cary officiating. Burial will be at Patton Cemetery in Patton.
