BELL CITY -- Funeral service for Henry P. (Bud) Bollinger of Independence will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Assembly of God Church here. The Rev. Lynn Ash will officiate, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Bell City.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today.

Bollinger, 86 years old, died Wednesday, March 13, 1991, at Windsor Estates Nursing Home in Independence.

He was born July 23, 1904, at Bell City, son of Henry Alvin and Mary Cathern Barks Bollinger. He married the former Nellie Guffy April 3, 1928, at Benton.

Bollinger was a machine operator with Bendix Corp. 20 years.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Claude Bollinger of Benton, Robert Bollinger of Blue Springs, Wiley Bollinger of Camden Point; two daughters, Wanda Dunn of Winnsboro, Tex., Anna Bell of Yerington, Nev.; a brother, Ross Bollinger of Advance Route 2; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers and a sister.
