PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Henry H. "Hank" Murray of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. J. Michael Davis will officiate, with burial in Crossroads Methodist Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 a.m. to service time.
Murray, 67, died Monday, Sept. 30, 1996, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Nov. 2, 1928, in Bollinger County, son of Jesse and Bertha McGraw Murray. He and Verla Mae Yamnitz were married July 16, 1955. She died Aug. 8, 1988.
Murray had been a carpenter with Kennon Construction Co., and also farmed. He was a member of Crossroads Methodist Church, Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders Association, and Perryville Saddle Club.
Survivors include a son, Lynn Murray of Perryville; a brother, Edwin Murray of Wentzville; a sister, Mary Chartier of Ely, Minn.; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
