HENRY MEINZ

ALTENBURG -- Henry A. "Heinie" Meinz, 83, of Altenburg died Saturday, March 14, 1998, at Altenburg.

He was born April 12, 1914, at Altenburg, the son of Alfred C. and Theresa Hunt Meinz. He and Ruth Alida Schuessler were married Oct. 3, 1954.

Meinz was a farmer and an assistant star mail carrier for 32 years.

He was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he served on the church finance board and as a sexton for many years.

He was a member of the Golden Age Club and a former member of the Trinity Dart Ball Team.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Curt Meinz of Altenburg; four sisters, Edna Weinhold of Brazeau, Cordy Voepel and Lorna Bohnert of Altenburg, and Mable Wilke of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel today from 5 - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 6:30 - 8:00 a.m.

Funeral will be at Trinity Lutheran Church at Altenburg at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Alhert J. C. Strand will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
