PARMA -- Henry L. Johnson, 66, of Parma died Sunday, July 4, 1999, at his home.
He was born April 27, 1933, at Earle, Ark., son of Melvin and Ada Threets Johnson. He and Mae Lee Patton were married March 20, 1951, at Earle.
He was a farmer for most of his life and was a member of the Mount Calvary Church at Parma.
He is survived by his wife; six sons, Willie B. Patton, Robert, Johnny and John Henry Johnson, all of Elgin, Ill., Charles and Leon Johnson, both of Parma; a brother, Melvin Johnson of Malden; 27 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, two daughters, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rainey Funeral Home at Bernie.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Community Building at Parma. The Rev. Elisha Pullum will officiate, with burial to follow at Simmons Park Cemetery at Catron.
