JACKSON -- Henry F. Reitman, 96, of Jackson died Saturday, March 5, 1994 at his home. He was born April 16, 1897 at Burfordville, the son of John and Mary Walker Retiman.
He married Anna Eaker on April 9, 1922 at Zalma; she preceded him in death on Nov. 24, 1989.
Survivors include: two foster sons, John Reitman of Jackson and Dean Galloway of Route 2 Jackson; and three grandchildren
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
He was a lifelong farmer and livestock dealer in the area and a member of the Scopus Church of Christ. He served two terms as a Bollinger County commissioner, and served on the Jackson City Council from 1962-70.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McCombs Chapel, with Bro. Kelly Francis and Bro. Kenny Francis officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Millersville.
