JONESBORO, Ill. -- Henry D. Linson, 85, of Chester, formerly of McClure, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1993, at Chester Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 19, 1907, in Union County, son of William and Rosie Murray Linson. He and Maple Morse were married Feb. 28, 1927. She died Dec. 26, 1989...

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Henry D. Linson, 85, of Chester, formerly of McClure, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1993, at Chester Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 19, 1907, in Union County, son of William and Rosie Murray Linson. He and Maple Morse were married Feb. 28, 1927. She died Dec. 26, 1989.

Linson was retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad, and was a member of Ware Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Don Linson of Chester.

He was preceded in death by a son.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Norris and Son Funeral Chapel in Jonesboro. The Rev. Randy Morgan will officiate, with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery.
