SCOTT CITY -- Henry Martin "Bud" Bader Jr., 75, of Scott City died Sunday, Sept. 22, 1996, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Aug. 20, 1921, in Illmo, son of Henry Martin and Maggie Lee O'Guin Bader. He was an electrician for RCA of Indianapolis and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of VFW Post 6407 in Scott City, the Kiwanis and was a former city councilman...

SCOTT CITY -- Henry Martin "Bud" Bader Jr., 75, of Scott City died Sunday, Sept. 22, 1996, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Aug. 20, 1921, in Illmo, son of Henry Martin and Maggie Lee O'Guin Bader. He was an electrician for RCA of Indianapolis and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of VFW Post 6407 in Scott City, the Kiwanis and was a former city councilman.

He is survived by three daughters, Brenda Hale of LaFayette, Ind., Madelyn Beder-DeWitt of Columbia and Jo Ellen Pratt of Rose Bud, Ill.; a sister, Madeline Stoffregen of Zalma; and 15 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and sister.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Lightner Memorial Cemetery, with graveside rites by Scott City VFW Post 6407.
