Henrietta M. Kammler, 86, of Trilla, Ill., formerly of Belleville, Ill., died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital in Mattoon, Ill. She was born Jan. 13, 1922, in St. Louis, daughter of Herbert and Frieda Huebner Daley. Henrietta was a former member of Christ United Church of Christ in Belleville and a current member of Martinsville United Methodist Church. She was involved in home extension and was a Sunday school teacher more than 20 years...

Henrietta M. Kammler, 86, of Trilla, Ill., formerly of Belleville, Ill., died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital in Mattoon, Ill.

She was born Jan. 13, 1922, in St. Louis, daughter of Herbert and Frieda Huebner Daley.

Henrietta was a former member of Christ United Church of Christ in Belleville and a current member of Martinsville United Methodist Church. She was involved in home extension and was a Sunday school teacher more than 20 years.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Orville Kamm­ler; a son, Richard (Susan) Kammler of Perryville, Mo.; a daughter, Elaine (Don) Manion of Trilla; six grandchildren, Matthew (Katy) Fain, Beth (Michael) Wise, Johnathan (Nicki) Fain, Andrew Kammler, Kate Kammler and Barbara Kammler; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Adelia Schaefer, Hazel Meier and Audrey (Vernon) Glauert; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mildred Parker; a great-grandchild, Skylar Fain; and a son-in-law, Darrel Fain.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights, Ill., with the Rev. Arthur Tinge officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Christ United Church of Christ in Belleville, or Heartland Christian Village in Neoga, Ill.
