BENTON -- Henrietta Halter, 87, of Benton died Wednesday, April 29, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 30, 1911, at Kelso, daughter of John and Mary Schlosser. She and Zeno Halter were married May 9, 1933, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.
Halter was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Sodality.
Survivors include a son, William Halter of Commerce; two daughters, Shirley Bucher of Chaffee, Mary Bennett of Crystal City; a brother, P.J. Schlosser of Sikeston; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton after 4 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Denis Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
