HENRIETTA BROWN

MCCLURE, Ill. -- Henrietta L.F. Brown, 69, of McClure, Ill., died Thursday, Aug. 22, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 30, 1921 in Chester, Ill, the daughter of John H. Kipp and Hilda Wolter Kipp.

She married Donner Brown July 27, 1940 in Chester, Ill. He survives.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau and a past Sunday School teacher. She was also a past president of the Band Mothers Club at Shawnee High School.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Dale Brown, McClure, Sam Brown, Dongola, Ill., Jim Brown, Belle Chasse, La.; one brother, John Kipp, Granite City, Ill.; two sisters, Marie Weibusch and Dorothy Rednour, both of Chester, Ill.; two grandsons and two granddaughters.

One brother preceded her in death.

Funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau with the Rev. Carl Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.

Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
