ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Helen C. Wencewicz, 96, of Chesterfield, Mo., died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Des Peres Hospital. She was born March 21, 1908, in St. Louis, daughter of Thomas and Catherine Ganska Bialczak. She and Casimir Wencewicz were married...

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Helen C. Wencewicz, 96, of Chesterfield, Mo., died Thursday, March 10, 2005, at Des Peres Hospital.

She was born March 21, 1908, in St. Louis, daughter of Thomas and Catherine Ganska Bialczak. She and Casimir Wencewicz were married.

Wencewicz was a member of St. Hedwig Ladies Council.

Survivors include a daughter, Helen Lefler of St. Louis; a son, Thomas Wencewicz of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Hattie Golomski of St. Louis; eight grandchildren.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. today at Kutis City Chapel.

The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Hedwig Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at St. Louis.
