FESTUS -- Helen T. Brase, 87, of Festus died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at Delmar Gardens South Nursing Home in St. Louis County.

She was born March 22, 1911, in Jackson, daughter of Albert M. and Anna Kies Sander. She married John E. Brase.

She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church of Crystal City.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jack Brase of St. James City, Fla., Robert Brase of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Richard Carter and Charles B. Dreyer officiating. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City.
