Funeral service for Helen D. Stilley, 266 Capaha Trail, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. David Pringle will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
Stilley, 89, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born July 28, 1907, at DeSoto, daughter of John and Elizabeth Kraft Short. She and Fred Stilley were married April 27, 1931, in St. Louis.
Stilley worked at Modern Laundry and Cleaners in Poplar Bluff more than 20 years. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Stilley of Kosse, Texas, Edward Gardner of Marble Hill; two daughters, Carol Sommer and Lois Burgett of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and six sisters.
