LIXVILLE -- Helen G. Statler, 76, of Lixville died Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 18, 1921, in Bollinger County, daughter of Ferdinand and Polly Ann McGraw Propst. She and Dewey E. Statler were married March 16, 1940...

LIXVILLE -- Helen G. Statler, 76, of Lixville died Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 18, 1921, in Bollinger County, daughter of Ferdinand and Polly Ann McGraw Propst. She and Dewey E. Statler were married March 16, 1940.

Statler was a member of Sedgewickville Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Phyllis LeGrand of Jackson; and a sister, Trula Sewing of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 5-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-11 a.m.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sedgewickville Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Albert Nyland officiating. Burial will be in Sedgewickville-Lixville Cemetery.
