HELEN REISCHMAN

ORAN -- Helen Mary Reischman, 84, of Oran died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born, May 4, 1915, at Oran, daughter of Charles George and Louise Felter Diebold. She and Christian William Reischman were married June 5, 1954, at Oran. He died Oct. 12, 1970.

She was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church and was a volunteer at the Chaffee General Hospital.

Survivors include a grandson, Matt Holder of Scott City; a sister, Marcella Tressler of Chester, Ill.; a stepson, Kip Reischman of Texas; and two stepdaughters, Pam Jolly of Jayess, Miss., and Deborah Miller of Chucky, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Oran. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church at Oran. The Rev. Lewis Henja will officiate, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
