Helen Naugle

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Helen Z. Naugle, 93, of Ozark County, Mo., formerly of Chaffee, died Thursday, June 26, 2003, at Bixby Manor Healthcare in Bixby, Okla.

She was born June 16, 1910, at Brixey, Mo., daughter of Marion and Nancy North Bushong. She and Orville A. Naugle were married May 30, 1925, at Romance, Mo.

Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Horman of Chaffee; four sons, Aubie Naugle of Bixby, Rex Naugle of Joplin, Mo., Tom Naugle of Delphos, Kan., Joe Naugle of Boley, Okla.; a sister, Hazel Hurst of Cabool, Mo.; a brother, Haas Bushong of St. John, Kan.; 34 grandchildren; 92 great-grandchildren; and 44 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, a son, four sisters, three brothers, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held July 1 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Mo. E.J. Hampton officiated. Burial was in Loftis Cemetery.
